CSN Store Review!

Recently I had hinted that I would be doing a review of a product from CSN Stores.

Well we decided that we were going to try this cool new waffle maker for our review since we are huge breakfast and breakfast for dinner eaters in my house!

And am I glad we did! I placed my order and it arrived on my door step super quick!

We had to try it out that night!

So a quick perusing of the directions and a set of batteries for the timer we were ready to go! (The one downside to this waffle maker is that the timer isn't tied in the heating unit at all and once you put in your batter you have to manually set the timer and when you're done the timer doesn't turn off :( A downer but not a deal breaker).

The maker has a large non stick cooking surface that turns out one big (size of a dinner plate) thick (about 1 1/2" thick) waffle.

The 180 degree flip feature insures that the batter is spread evenly and that the waffle cooks evenly!
After cooking my first waffle a little to long (extra crispy waffle anyone?) I figured out just the right length of time and made several delicious waffles!

In my excitement I forgot to snap a picture of my yummy waffles but I did catch one of the aftermath!

  That was all that was left from the 2 waffles I made for my husband.

The waffle maker was super simple to clean up and it has a handy lock on it so it can be stored in the vertical position to save some room in the cupboard! Which is a big plus in my book!

So overall CSN Stores was great! Placing the order was simple, shipping was quick and with over 200 stores to shop from there is always something for everyone.

And the waffle maker it self was pretty good.  I can't say great since the timer runs on batteries and isn't tied into the cooking anyway. But it does cook a nice waffle!

My garage sale is over!

My garage sale is over!  Thank goodness!

I had a really good sale and I figured out the whole pricing thing but I am paying for it big time.  I'm sure anyone who went through and did everything I did the last four days would be pretty run down and a bit sore also but add my MS on top of it and I am completely drained and my whole body is screaming in pain! But here I am sitting at my desk battling to make it through my 9 hour day.

Back to the garage sale. We organized and set up some stuff Thursday night. Then Friday morning we moved all the tables outside and I got everything set up.  Friday was very busy all day and unfortunately I was alone a good portion of the day. I sold a lot of smaller items on Friday, but that was ok because I made some good money off the small stuff. After the sale that day my husband convinced me to move everything in to the garage "just in case". I'm glad I gave in because Saturday morning it decided to rain for a bit in the morning. After the rain stopped we moved everything out and started the sale a bit late. With the rain that morning Saturday was definitely a slower day but more of the big items went so the $ turned out pretty good.

Overall it was a good sale and I'm glad we decided to only do a two day sale.  I don't want to think about how mush pain I would be in today if we had done the three day sale we discussed originally.

I'm having a rough day.

Today has been a really rough day for me physically. My pinky and ring fingers on my left hand are completely numb. The rest of my body feels like it's been hit by a car. I can't turn my head more than a few degrees either way. Oh yeah and my stomach has been a mess for the last 2 days.  I really hate when my MS rears it's ugly head like this and of course I will have very little down time in the next two weeks.

So everyone please forgive me if I'm not around a whole lot this week. I promise I will keep up the contests and the Swap but much beyond that I'm not sure what I'll be able to do.

Yard Sale Confunded!

So I am truly yard (garage/tag) sale confunded!

I'm planning one for next weekend and while I have collected PLENTY of stuff to sell, I am clueless on what to price everything! I've googled and asked neighbors but I can't get any straight answers!

I am completely lost! Can anyone help or point me in the right direction?

Fawk you to the idiots who drive the go-cart up and down our street in the middle of the night.  Not cool! You woke me and my little sweet potato up 2 nights in a row!

Fawk you to the mail carrier who left our mail sitting on our front porch instead of putting it in the mail box.  I came home to junk mail all over my yard!

Fawk you to our old neighbor who still have stuff stored in our garage a year later! If it's not picked up by next weekend it's going in my garage sale!
