Wholesale Costume Club Review!!!

Wholesale Costume Club is an innovative new concept in costume shopping. They are the only costume website on the internet that lets you purchase Halloween costumes at wholesale club member or non-member prices that are below the lowest retail prices you'll find on any online costume store!

WholesaleCostumeClub.com was founded to give consumers the best possible selection at the lowest prices available on the internet. They have the newest and best designs from the most popular costume manufacturers in the industry. These are the same costumes you'll find at mass retail stores and online Halloween costume shops except for one major difference: WHOLESALE COSTUME PRICES!!!

When you think of wholesale clubs you think of places that require you to buy items in bulk or that require a minimum order amount. You may also think about those high annual membership fees. This is NOT the case at Wholesale Costume Club. You don't even need to be a member, although for a very low $5 fee you can become a member and save even more on costumes.

Membership has a clear advantage even if you only purchase one or two costumes a year. However, the more you buy the more you save. So, if you have a large family this is the place to shop for Halloween costumes! Also, if you are from a school or other type of organization, this is the best way to buy costumes and stay within a tight budget.

I decided to check out the toddler Halloween costumes for my sweet potato. There is a bunch of adorable costumes to pick from.

Or if I had a little girl I wouldn't be able to  pass up:

Soo Cute!

But I decided that since both me and daddy were going to be Star Wars characters that little guy should be too! I picked a Yoda costume for him!!It was to cute to pass up!!

See! Cute!
And when we got it I was not disappointed!!

Love it!!!! And sweet potato seemed to like it too! We'll at least he didn't try to rip it off! It is very cute and is great quality!

I received the above product from Wholesale Costume Club for reviewing purposes, no other compensation was given and all opinions expressed are my own.

Yo Gabba Gabba Live!

I took my little hellion sweet potato to see Yo Gabba Gabba Live! on Friday afternoon and I survived we had a blast.

Sweet potato had so much fun! Especially after I bought him a rip-off cool flashing light stick, since all the kids around us had one and you know I can't be that loser mom and not get one too.

He loved Biz's Beat of the day with Biz Markie!

He even got a complement form the crazy nice mommy two rows back.  He was keeping up the beat box right along with Biz when she decided to yell out "That little white boy gots rhythm!". Haha!

He had a blast seeing his favorite characters in person.

Well he had fun I was left scratching my head on a few things. For our Dancey Dance special guest we had Leslie Hall - The Midwest Diva? Who? Seriously? Never heard of her.

???

And for the "Super Music Friend Show" the guest was Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. Again who???

Seriously Detroit is a big city and so well know for its music they couldn't find someone better, maybe a bit well known to guest star. That was a bit stupid unfair of a let down for the parents.

Overall after I took a painkiller for my headache we had a blast. Sweet potato had fun and isn't that all that really matters after-all?!?!?!

CSN Stores - Down Duvet Review

I was contacted recently to do another awesome review for CSN Stores since I am a "Preferred Blogger". How cool is that!

CSN Stores is one of if not the best site for online shopping.  Their site has everything for dining tables, to baby and kid furniture, to shoes for the family, and even kitchen sinks! I don't know where else you would be able to find that much variety in one place!

I absolutely love shopping at CSN Stores! I can spend hours just searching the sites for one awesome thing after another.

For this review I decide to get a new down duvet, actually my cats decided for me when I found that one of them had torn a hole in my old one and were eating/playing with the feathers. I guess that's what I get for storing it in a place they can get to and not in anything. Stupid me.

I ordered the Highland Feather Cordoba White Down Duvet.

Let me just say really quick that this thing is the shit!

As always the ordering process on CSN's website was a breeze.  I was originally a bit disappointed in the shipping going to take almost 2 weeks but once I got it I realized that it shipped from Canada and had to go through customs, a bit more understandable. But damn I live 25 minutes from the Detroit / Windsor boarder and would have been able to pick it up over there in a lot quicker time then it took to get to me. Not their fault just those freakin customs agents hold up so much stuff! (Sorry partial vent from my job and having to ship things to Canada).

But anyway back on topic - my new duvet!

Can I just say this thing arrived just in time - we are having a major cold snap here in southeast Michigan, like going down to the high 30s at night - brrrr.  So I ripped that bad boy open and threw it right on the bed for the night!

I was so nice and warm that night, it was soooo soooo nice! I really like the actual material the duvet is made out of. It's very soft and not shinny like some duvets I've seen.  If it wasn't for my 2 cats and the runny nose monster I call my son, I might actually consider leaving it without a duvet cover. But alas I can't. Oh well.

I am very happy with my new duvet and CSN Stores in general!

Thank you CSN Stores for the opportunity to review the Highland Feather Cordoba White Down Duvet for you. I look forward to doing more review with you in the future.

Disclosure: I received the product mentioned above in exchange for this review, Thanks to CSN Stores! No monetary compensation was received by me. This is my completely honest opinion above and may differ from yours.

Hump Day Review - A Day Early!

This week I was contacted by Eden Fantasys to see if I wanted to do a review of one of their products. Having a small "toy box" in our bedroom I decided to take them up on the offer.

Since last time I reviewed something just for me, I thought I would review something for me and me husband this time.  For something different I decided to try 101 Nights of Grreat Sex board game. Briefly let me just say if all the nights turn out like the first time we played this game, it lives up to its name and then some!

CSN Stores / Delonghi Two Cup Espresso/Cappuccino Maker Review

So recently I was approached with the opportunity to do another product review through CSN Stores. So of course I jumped on the chance. With over 200 stores of everything from furniture to everything for baby and kids to health and fitness items and everything in between I figured it would be no problem finding an Item to review. Well one problem that I didn't expect when picking an item did come up - What to pick!  My wishlist was 2 or 3 pages long of incredible items at great price by the time I made myself stop "window" shopping. So I turned over the item selection process to my husband. He picked an delightful Espresso/Cappuccino maker!

So off I went to place the order.  CSN's website is super simply to navigate around and after a few short minutes my order for the Delonghi Two Cup Espresso/Cappuccino Maker was placed. I was very happy to see that even with basic shipping my cappuccino maker was going to be on my door step in just less than a week!

Just as promised my cappuccino maker arrived on my door step 6 days after placing my order in perfect condition! Unfortunately it took a few days once here for me to actually open it and play with it, my standard life just got in the way.

Once I did open it and started playing with it the results were great! Unlike some other cappuccino makers this one is very simple to use and the directions are very clear and easy to follow.  In no time flat I had made 2 delicious cappuccinos for me and the husband.

It brews super quick and the frothing arm actually swivels to make frothing your milk easier! It is compact in size so it can stay on the counter all the time which means it is more likely to get used regularly.

I'm really excited about this little guy because now I can make my caps just the way I like them and in a weeks time it will have paid for itself since me and my husband wont have to make our daily trip to the local coffee shop!

Overall great shopping experience and a great product!

CSN Store Review!

Recently I had hinted that I would be doing a review of a product from CSN Stores.

Well we decided that we were going to try this cool new waffle maker for our review since we are huge breakfast and breakfast for dinner eaters in my house!

And am I glad we did! I placed my order and it arrived on my door step super quick!
We had to try it out that night!
So a quick perusing of the directions and a set of batteries for the timer we were ready to go! (The one downside to this waffle maker is that the timer isn't tied in the heating unit at all and once you put in your batter you have to manually set the timer and when you're done the timer doesn't turn off :( A downer but not a deal breaker).
The maker has a large non stick cooking surface that turns out one big (size of a dinner plate) thick (about 1 1/2" thick) waffle.
The 180 degree flip feature insures that the batter is spread evenly and that the waffle cooks evenly!
After cooking my first waffle a little to long (extra crispy waffle anyone?) I figured out just the right length of time and made several delicious waffles!

In my excitement I forgot to snap a picture of my yummy waffles but I did catch one of the aftermath!
That was all that was left from the 2 waffles I made for my husband.

The waffle maker was super simple to clean up and it has a handy lock on it so it can be stored in the vertical position to save some room in the cupboard! Which is a big plus in my book!

So overall CSN Stores was great! Placing the order was simple, shipping was quick and with over 200 stores to shop from there is always something for everyone.

And the waffle maker it self was pretty good.  I can't say great since the timer runs on batteries and isn't tied into the cooking anyway. But it does cook a nice waffle!

Door to Door Organics Review

Recently my husband got a new job and one of the very cool benefits was the option to join the companies organic produce co-op. The co-op is through an outside company Door to Door Organics. I jumped on the chance! I love getting good organic produce but hate that I have to go to 3 different stores to get everything I want, which can really set me back physically.

I was directed to their website to sign up, which was super simple. Then I had to make a call directly to them to be added to the companies co-op. (You can join with out a co-op and have it delivered directly to your home if the have a delivery route in your area or it can be sent UPS for a small fee.)

From there I picked my box size (they multiple box choices including fruit and veggie mix or fruit only or veggie only all in different sizes) and how frequently I wanted a delivery.

Each week prior to your delivery they will send you next weeks "menu" and if there is something on your "menu" you don't care for you can substitute another option (this was my primary worry about signing up for a "co-op" because I remember other "co-ops" where it was you got what they had and that was it).

After I placed my order I forgot about it until I got a phone call from my husband saying he had a box of fruit and veggies for me! Yayyy!

Once the box was home I jumped right in to see my goodies. I ordered The Small box which included:
4 - Gala Apples
4 - Oranges
4 - Pears
5 - Bananas
1 - Avocado
2 - Cucumbers
6 - Yams
A head of Romaine Lettuce
A bunch of carrots with the tops on
A container of cherry tomatoes
A stalk of celery
A head of broccoli

Everything was extremely fresh and in great condition. I rinsed everything off since some of it was still dirty from the field, which was actually really comforting to me knowing that even after picked it wasn't "processed" with anything since some other "organic" produce is "cleaned" with more than water before it is sent out, and put it away.

Over the last several days we've been making our way through everything and everything has been great! The pears are some of the best I've had in a long time and my son devoured the bananas. My husband said the apples were extremely juicy. Ans the lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, celery and avocado made a great salad for dinner last night!

We made a great choice in joining the Door to Door Organics, and I am looking forward to my next delivery!
